Here something you can enjoy this holiday season! Our Three Sisters Holiday Glühwein Recipe. Enjoy Traditional German Holiday Spiced Wine with friends and family.
Our Holiday Chardonnay or Vidal Blanc makes a fine mulled wine for the season (Or if you want red..switch to Chestatee Red or Blood Mountain Red).
1 or 2 bottles of Three Sisters Holiday Chardonnay or Vidal
6 cinnamon sticks
6 cloves, whole
1/8 tsp allspice
1/2 to 3/4 cup of Dixie Crystal Sugar (sweetening to taste)
1 orange, sliced.
Directions
Pour the one or two bottles of Three Sisters Holiday Chardonnay or Vidal into a crock pot and begin to heat.
Add sugar and spices. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Heat thoroughly, but do not boil.
Add 1 whole sliced orange once mixture is hot.
Serve hot and garnish with cinnamon stick and orange slice.
Party HInt: Don't add the sliced orange until after the mixture is heated up and keep an eye on the fresh fruit. If you let the citrus cook or float too long it will add too much bitterness.
